ASHTON BARLOW

Director| Playwright| Performer

Ashton Barlow is a Director, Playwright, Producer, and the founder of Home Again Productions. He graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University with a BA in Theatre with an emphasis in Directing, as well as Religion and Philosophy. Barlow started Home Again Productions to produce innovative theatre projects that stretch the boundaries of what “belongs onstage.” As well as create an artistic space where, through social commentary, education, and farce, liberation and social justice can be fought for.

I re-enrolled in community college because of you. You reminded me how much I really love theatre and history together, and a season with you finally motivated me to make the first jump back in.” - Jack Tarr

DIRECTING

“Ashton was very honest with us throughout the rehearsal process, which is something that is very necessary and needed out of a director. He was great at communicating and directing us towards where we were trying to take the show, which is especially remarkable given the unique circumstances this show presented.” - Performer [Doubt]
